UNC Department of Housing Engage Student Residents with Improved Brand Identity (Washington DC) – Sept 27, 2007

The Department of Housing and Residence Life at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte has implemented new programs and policies to better serve their student residence. Among these new programs are the new freshman experience program entitled, “greenhouse” and the new residence life reward program. Both programs are designed to enrich the resident’s experience at the University of North Carolina.

To communicate these new programs intelligently to their community, The Department of Housing at UNC has partnered with Washington DC web design firm, Blue Water Media. Blue Water Media developed a new and engaging Brand Identity for both programs that will help raise student awareness of these programs. The brand identity development created by Blue Water Media includes development of new logos, graphics, color schemes and print designs and consultation.

The Department of Housing would like their residents to know that their facilities are among the finest anywhere and with rewarding resident programs such as these, their student residents will have the opportunity to live, learn, and grow through the unique experience of living with other students at UNC. Blue Water Media’s brand identity design will assist the department of housing in communicating this message and improving the awareness of their new resident programs.
