Award Winning Web Design
Blue Water Media is an award winning web design company that has consistently won awards for our excellence in web design, application development, and print design/corporate identity. Although our primary concern is our clients' satisfaction, it is rewarding to be recognized by our peers for the hard work we invest in our web design projects. Listed below are a few of the most notable accolades we have received.
2009 Design Awards

Self Promotion:
Blue Water Media
In an effort to practice what we preach, the team worked to integrate a number of fresh Web design, programming technologies and implementation practices into the new Blue Water site. Some of the more notable features include:
- A content management system that makes updating page text and image content a snap – even for those of us here without a ton of programming knowledge
- Databases that house portfolio content
- The use of advanced CSS
- Section 508 compliance throughout the Web site so that the pages are accessible to visitors with disabilities
- A stepped up marketing effort that will have a profound effect on the site's placement in major search engines as Google and Yahoo
- WAP enabled pages so Wi-Fi users can view the site on handheld devices
Over the past eight years of being in the Web development business we have learned that scalability is paramount with sites of this nature. We built our new site utilizing the same open source technology (such as PHP and MySQL) that we recommend for our clients. The approach affords the flexibility to easily deploy new technology and site features as we grow and as technology evolves.
